Le Laboratoire presents the exhibition Dispersión y Aglomeración by Ilán Lieberman, at its new headquarters located in the creative hub G.56.

"In this recent series of works, which I began in 2009, continues my investigation into forms of encompassing pictorial space, using the repetition of minimal gestures, while trying to focus my attention on each one. The work starts from a certain guideline that is set in motion shaping its characteristic, together with the variations, deviations or errors of the pictorial process, creating an accumulation of frozen moments. The metallic colors on black are like flashes of the electromagnetic spectrum, energy manifesting in space. Due to its similarities with paper and the proximity of these works to drawings, the use of a non-woven fabric has been ideal. The synthetic material absorbs the acrylic from the impregnated sponges whose imprints decrease in intensity with each iteration, creating shapes and patterns of iridescent luminosities that seem to have volume and depth. Hundreds of points, balls or planets make up immersive fields of color. Other paintings combine two images into one, arranged in a grid pattern. Sprinkled with colors by the spray gun, the masking tape is removed and reused, adhered to a new canvas, forming a painting of colored tiles, made with these fragments, not included in the previous painting. From another series, paintings such as Origin and Manifestation, were produced by masking thin lines, alternately uncovering, painting, and covering with tape again until the image was lost. At the end comes the surprise of the final image re-emerging transformed into a fabric of subtle changes and mixtures of color, where different figures seem to appear."
